With Shetland experiencing the ‘hottest’ July since records began in 1884 including very little rain fall, Scottish Water staff sprang into action to keep islanders of Out Skerries supplied with domestic water.
Ocean Farm Services wellboat “Ocean Aquila” transported a total of 1500m3 of raw freshwater from the loch of Huxter on the island of Whalsay, across to the neighbouring island of Out Skerries.
