Ocean Farm Services have signed new ownership of a 62 metre 1200m3 Wellboat from Norwegian Wellboat company Frøy on the 25th of March.
OFS have renamed the 'Novatrans' to the 'Ocean Prosper’ and re-registered her under the UK Ensign Flag.
‘Ocean Prosper’ has been a substancial investment for OFS, also a major addition to our growing fleet, which in return will create more local jobs for Shetland, also strengthening OFS as an up and coming company within the ever growing Scottish aquaculture industry, by doubling our fish transport capacity.
We look forward to getting the ‘Ocean Prosper’ into operation, covering a wide range of Wellboat services such as, Live Fish Transport, Live Harvest RSW Closed Transport, Smolt Transport, Splitting over fish for Treatments, UV and Lice Filtering, Grading and Counting Fish.
