The 'Ocean Athena' is designed to operate as a ROV Net Washing vessel, also certified for Dive Support, and will be capable of general Site Services works.
The Ocean Athena is 15m x 7m and is equipped with a Scania 390hp main engine with controllable pitch propeller. Ocean Athena is of mono hull construction and is built from high grade marine aluminium. She is specifically designed and built for contract net cleaning, with a second engine room for housing the net cleaner power pack below deck. Keeping the equipment in better condition, free of salt water, whilst ensuring a clear deck to undertake other duties when net cleaning season is quiet.
